General Info

Tucked along 886 VT-4A in Bomoseen, Vermont, Paul’s Pizza feels like the kind of place you discover once and keep coming back to. It’s not just a pizza restaurant-it’s a laid-back local spot where the menu is comforting, the atmosphere is cozy, and the experience feels genuinely welcoming from the moment you walk in.

The first thing that stands out is how approachable everything feels. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick takeout order or settling in for full table service, the flow is easy and relaxed. On days when you’d rather stay in, the no-contact delivery option makes things even more convenient. And if you’re driving through the area, free street parking nearby keeps things simple.

Now, let’s talk about the food-because that’s really what brings people here. The pepperoni pizza is a classic done right, with a balanced crust and just the right amount of flavor in every bite. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more loaded, the pepperoni and veggie pizza offers a satisfying mix that feels hearty without being overwhelming. It’s one of those menu items you order when you want a bit of everything.

Then there’s the calzone, which honestly feels like a must-try. It comes out warm and packed, with a filling that’s generous but not messy. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down and actually enjoy each bite. And surprisingly, the shrimp and grits add a different twist to the menu. It’s not what you’d expect at a pizza spot, but it works-bringing a bit of variety that keeps things interesting.

What really ties everything together is the vibe. The space leans cozy rather than flashy, making it a comfortable place to unwind. You’ll notice that the service matches that tone-friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. It feels like a place where both locals and visitors can settle in without any pressure.

Looking through reviews, you’ll notice a consistent theme: people appreciate the balance between quality food and easygoing service. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. Instead, Paul’s Pizza focuses on doing the basics really well, from its menu selection to its welcoming environment.

Whether you’re grabbing takeout after a long day, enjoying a casual dine-in meal, or ordering delivery for a quiet night, this location offers a reliable, satisfying experience that keeps things simple in the best way possible.

What customers say?

“ Stopped in for lunch on Sunday 9/8 Another reviewer said the pepperoni pizza was great. We agree it was one of the best we have had, the cheesy breadsticks were also great. Entire place was very clean. Wish they would open one in Colchester! Will definitely eat there again when in the area ”

“ Update: after they saw my review the next day. They took a look at my ticket the saw that I was overcharged by mistake (person was new and made a mistake). The owner called and then credited my bank card I used the amount overcharged. This has changed my opinion of going back. Like I said the food was very good. Although the pizza was good and the turkey sub was pretty good. A large 3 topping pizza and the sub came to $43. This is the reason I won't be coming back. I've never paid so much before anywhere else. ”

“ Staying at Lake Bomoseen Lodge and had a pizza delivered. Pizza arrived quickly and very hot! Absolutely delicious! Lots of topping and great sauce. Normally do not care for thick crust pizza. This crust was uniquely thick but crispy. Wish we had this type of crust in our hometown. Highly recommend! ”

“ I frequent Paul’s Family Pizza. I love it here. Very friendly service and always consistent with their food. My go-to is a Buffalo Chicken Calzone, but I’ve had plenty of different pizzas that also hit the spot. Thankful this place is now open 7 days a week. Highly recommend! ”

“ Staying at Lake Bomoseen Lodge and wanted a quick lunch. Really happy with Paul's. Got a large pepperoni and large bacon with pineapple. Totally worth it. A lot of pizza places leave the crust as an afterthought but this place nailed it. So good, crunchy and a nice saltiness but not overdone. The sauce was perfect, not too sweet. And the toppings were great. Pepperoni had some nice heat. Bacon and pineapple prepared in nice even portions...not big lazy chunks. Great cheese. If I come back this way I'd definitely grab pizza here again. Just note that Google shows an old menu, so be sure to find the updated one. ”

“ The pepperoni pizza was phenomenal, and the mozzarella sticks were huge and tasty. Definitely worth the trip from New York ”

“ I was hungry for a pizza and this restaurant was recommended by The Marble Mansion Inn where was staying. The first thing I noticed was the tidiness and cleanliness of the building. The pizza is unique, in that the crust reminds you of a fresh piece of baked bread. It is golden brown with just the right crunch. The sauce and toppings are perfect. The restaurant is family run and the sauce is home made so the crust must be secret too because I have never experienced a crust like it. I see the reviews are high and no wonder. You got to try this Pizza place! ”
